TAMAR ESKENIAN, Flutist

​In our latest interview, we had the pleasure of speaking with Tamar Eskenian, an exceptional flutist renowned for her deep engagement with both Western and Eastern classical music traditions. Tamar's repertoire spans from early Baroque to contemporary compositions, showcasing her versatility on instruments such as the modern flute, Baroque traverso, and the traditional Armenian shvi flute.

During our conversation, Tamar shared insights into the diverse world of flutes, discussing the unique characteristics and histories of various types.
